The project involved the fast tract fit-out of a recently completed city centre office block for Facebook.  The 2nd floor of this building had the raised access floors and ceilings installed prior to the fit-out commencing.  The scope of works for the turnkey fit-out included the construction of a number of cellular offices using a combination of stud partitions and specialist glazing systems, the construction of meeting rooms, tea stations and a kitchen fit-out.

The fit-out also included the completion of a comms room and I.T. Room together with the installation of the full Mechanical & Electrical services.  These service installations included the installation of chilled ceiling beams, lighting control, cctv, access control, CAT 6A fibre network and air conditioning units.  There was also an extensive joinery package with the installation of reception desks, kitchen fit-out, printer and storage units and curved banquette seating.  Floor finishes including carpet, vinyl and wooden floors also formed part of the work.

The demanding seven week program for the project was achieved through focused project management of the sub-contract packages by Bennett Construction combined with detailed forward planning of resources and activities.  Detailed forward planning involved daily meetings of sub-contractors in order to take immediate action on any slippage to the program.
