Supervalu Mixed Development Retail Store (Louth)

This project consisted of a new 25,000 sq. ft. high spec supermarket, 7,000 sq. ft. of office space and 18,000 sq. ft. for rentable retail use.

Development Summary

This project consisted of a new 25,000 sq. ft. high spec supermarket, 7,000 sq. ft. of office space and 18,000 sq. ft. for rentable retail use. The façade has a two-storey infill curtain walling system complete with a spectacular feature double height entrance, finished in planar glazing.


The building is fitted with two escalators and three passenger lifts to 1st floor level and also serves as access to the new shopping mall restaurant and medical centre.

The building boasts state of the art environmentally friendly design with a 20m x 3.0m roof mounted solar panel providing 75% of hot water to the complex, combined with a new development in converting the heat gain from the refrigeration plant back into the gain and ventilation system.
