Beech Hill Commercial Office Development

This project involved the construction of a new five storey office building with underground car park and service areas in an already established business campus.

Development Summary

This project involved the construction of a new five storey office building with underground car park and service areas in an already established business campus. In order to ensure there was no disturbance to the neighbouring tenants, Bennett established a liaison committee who met with all of the adjacent tenants weekly to ensure that any issues arising were swiftly addressed.

The building frame was precast concrete column and beam, with integrated precast hollowcore floors.  Lift shafts were cast in concrete in-situ to provide shear resistance.

External cladding was engineering brickwork, while the roof structure was a traditional trussed roof with a slate finish to complement the brickwork façades.

The internal office floors were comfort cooled and had a full raised floor installation to accommodate services.

The stair and lift lobbies were finished off with oak veneered panelling and the toilet blocks were completed with stone tiling and timber panelling.
