Development Summary

The works involved the construction of a new biotechnology research building on the DCU Campus. The building has over 3,000m² of gross internal area consisting of offices, laboratories (including over 1,000m² of cleanrooms) and ancillary areas including gas bottle compound for medical gases. The cleanroom suites on the second floor have a specialist walk on ceiling with access to the roof level plantroom.

The building is very highly serviced with intense co-ordination required to ensure that the installation of services ran smoothly. Client equipment installation was a key feature of the programming of the building works.
