Development Summary

This project involved the construction of a 4,000m² Laboratory and 6,000m² of administration space in the grounds of St. James’ Hospital. Dublin. The site was extremely confined and all work had to be carried out without disturbing the nearby hospital.

The laboratories were constructed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) protocol requirements, with the cleanroom protocol included as an integral part of the construction planning process. Co-ordination of the services required in the laboratories extended to managing the connecting up of Client equipment.
