The 24,500m² development comprised of a two storey over part basement facility with internal courtyards. The complex was completed with the inclusion of a single storey outbuildings, energy centre, service yards, animal and poultry housing units and a greenhouse. Extensive landscaping, amenity areas, internal access roads, services roads and a ritter road to the perimeter of the building were included in the site works.

The construction of the laboratories was far from easy as each wall/ceiling had to be co-ordinated to suit all services within a zone, this created programming & logistical issues for all relevant sub-contractors as timeframes had to be strictly adhered to or delays would have occurred.
