Following on from the successful completion of the Phase 1 works in 2005, Musgrave appointed BCL as main contractor for the Phase 2 expansion in April 2008. The 132,500 sq.ft. extension was completed on time and on programme without a single minute of disruption to the existing operations. This is despite the fact that the entire back wall of the building had to be demolished just 1.2 metres away from their storage and distribution aisles as well as tying in to existing services such as sprinkler systems, fire alarms etc.
