Steel Frame Complete at the Exo Building

Date added: 27 Feb 2020

The Exo Building reached another milestone last week as it celebrated the completion of the active alignment of the structural steel to the north side of the building.  Just over two years ago since we commenced on site, the Exo has now reached full height with the last steel beam lifted in to place and active alignment of the steel now complete to both ends of the building.

The project consists of a new 17 storey office block between the existing 3 Arena and the East Wall Road. The building is raised at ground level by approximately 8 meters and supported by three elliptical cores.

The EXO Building has been designed to target a Building Energy Rating of A3 and LEED Gold certification and Wired Certified Platinum.

The EXO Building will be a striking new landmark for the city's revitalised north quays. As Dublin's tallest office structure, it will push the city's skyline to dramatic new heights, utterly changing the way Dublin is viewed.

Well done to the team for reaching this milestone on this exciting project. We can’t wait to see the finished building!
